These instructions relate to SpeakLuma, its learning application and this launch website. The launch website itself does not create learning accounts or store app lesson history.
2. HOW TO REQUEST DELETION
To request deletion, write to hello@speakluma.com from the email address associated with your SpeakLuma account. Use a subject such as ‘SpeakLuma account deletion request’ and state that you want your account and associated personal information deleted.
Identify the relevant account using its registered email address. If you only joined the launch waitlist, state that you want your waitlist entry removed and launch-update consent withdrawn. A parent or legal guardian may submit a request concerning their child's information.
Do not include passwords, one-time codes, payment-card details, voice recordings or unnecessary identity documents. SpeakLuma may ask for reasonable verification of account ownership or guardian authority before processing a request.
The email link opens your own email application; you must send the message yourself. This page does not send the email for you or provide a request-received confirmation. Requests require handling by the authorized SpeakLuma administrator.
3. WHAT INFORMATION THE REQUEST COVERS
Following verification, the deletion request covers the relevant SpeakLuma account and associated personal information, including applicable name, email, phone number, account identifiers and authentication information.
Where stored for that account, it also covers English proficiency, learning objectives, assessment answers, personalized plans, completed lessons, scores, progress, AI conversation transcripts and associated conversation history.
Original voice recordings are processed temporarily for speaking exercises and are not intentionally retained as permanent learning records. Third-party providers may have independent processing and retention practices.
For a launch-waitlist removal request, the relevant information is the email address, optional learning goal, signup and consent records, and age/guardian confirmation timestamp, subject to lawful retention requirements.
4. WHAT MAY NEED TO BE RETAINED
Information may need to be retained for legal, regulatory, security or other lawful obligations. This may include relevant transaction or dispute records, if such records exist, or information necessary to investigate misuse or comply with a valid legal requirement.
Provider-held information or backup copies, where they exist, may follow separate retention schedules. The actual categories, purposes and applicable schedules need to be confirmed; this page does not promise immediate erasure from every provider or backup.
An account-deletion request is not a substitute for cancellation of a separately authorized recurring subscription. If you have such a subscription, use the applicable subscription-management or payment-provider cancellation mechanism as well, subject to your legal rights.
5. PROCESSING TIME AND REQUEST STATUS
A fixed processing or completion time has not yet been confirmed. SpeakLuma must finalize its ownership-verification, deletion, retention and provider-handling procedures before publishing an accurate timeline.
You may contact hello@speakluma.com regarding the status of a request, access, correction or another privacy concern. Requests remain subject to applicable legal obligations; no unsupported guaranteed completion deadline is advertised here.
An in-app account-deletion feature and its associated processing workflow must be implemented and tested before the public Google Play launch. This website update does not implement that app feature or establish Google Play launch readiness.
